The Importance of Making Childcare Fun

Children should enjoy the interaction that they have with their teacher. It is sad when children don't want to go to childcare centers for the fear of being bored. How we remedy that is at least once a month we have special days. Today is one of our special days. We had pirate day. The children enjoyed coming to the center and seeing their teachers dressed as pirates and having a patch painted on their eye. We had root beer floats and cookies for snack. These are the memories every one in early childhood education should share with their students.

"It Takes A Village.."

In today's society it is undoubtably clear that most American cities are struggling with providing  educational scores to compare to those of other competing countries. It is our belief that children are the fabric of today's society. We must train them at an early age, building confidence and strenghtening the desire to achieve, this is the foundation of hope, a concept that is used every day at "Village Child Enrichment Center".
